This document sets out the Terms of Use (“Terms”) of leervanfred.nl (the “Website”).
This Website is operated by RUMAG Clothing BV (“the Seller“, “we”, “us”, “our”).
The customer (“you”, ”your”) is a natural person who is of legal age and who is not acting within the context of practicing a profession or conducting a business, with whom the Seller concludes an Agreement.
The Website is www.leervanfred.nl
The Product is a RUMAG product that the Seller offers for sale on the Website.
The Order is a purchase of one of more product(s) placed by the Buyer on the Website in accordance with the procedure and the terms described in this document.
The Purchase Price is the price indicated on the Website for a Product, including VAT.

By accessing this Website, you agree to be bound by the Terms.
Before using this Website, you must always read the Terms carefully, as well as our Privacy and Cookie Policy (“Privacy Policy”) and our
Return Policy.


These Terms of Use that have been made available online by RUMAG Clothing BV on www.leervanfred.nl govern all offers, orders, agreements and other legal relationships between the Seller and the Customer with respect to use the Website, including the purchase and sale of a product on or via the Website.


2.1 Order placement

The Customer can place an order on or via the Website in the following manner:

– The Customer selects the Product desired in the desired style, color and size,
– The Customer adds the Product in the cart,
– The Customer checks his order and proceeds to check out filling in all his personal and address details,
– The Customer checks the information provided,
– The Customer selects a payment method and processes the payment,
– The Customer receives a confirmation e-mail of the Order that has been placed

N.B. This first confirmation e-mail does NOT mean that the payment went through and that the order has been completed.

If the e-mail address provided is wrong, RUMAG Clothing will NOT be able to send any confirmation e-mail or further information about the order and/or about the shipment.

2.2 Discount Code

RUMAG Clothing BV is entitled of offering Discount Codes and Store Credit in the following cases, among others:

– If the Customer returns one or more product(s) requiring Store Credit with Free Shipping (Shipping costs will be included only in the first return. If the Customer will return the product(s) a second time, Shipping costs will not be included in the code provided by RUMAG Clothing BV),
– If RUMAG Clothing BV decides to offer special discounts to any Customer on selected products,
– If RUMAG Clothing BV decides to offer special discounts to any Customer on the entire store,
– If RUMAG Clothing BV decides to offer special discounts to one specific Customer because of a peculiar situation.

Personal Discount Codes RUMAG Clothing will offer to one specific Customer will be valid for one year starting from the date in which it was created and given to the Customer.
The Discount Code will expire one day before the date in which it was created of the following year at 11.59 PM.
If the Discount Code will not be used within the specified date and time, the credit will be lost.
In peculiar cases, RUMAG Clothing is entitled of creating personal Discount Codes with validity different from one year. The Customer will always be informed about the different expiry date and the Code will be created only after the Customer will have agreed with the terms proposed by RUMAG Clothing BV.
Personal Discount Codes are usable only one time and the entire amount has to be used in one single time.

2.2 Order completion

After the Customer has placed an order, RUMAG Clothing BV will:

– Check all the order details,
– Check if the address provided is correct (if it isn’t our customer Support will contact the Customer as soon as possible requiring a correct address),
– Check if all the ordered items are in stock (if there is any sold out item, our customer Support will contact the Customer as soon as possible offering a suitable solution),
– Check if the payment has been processed and received,
– Decide whether to accept or reject the order (read section 2.3 for further information about rejected orders).

If RUMAG Clothing BV will decide to accept the order, the Customer will receive a confirmation e-mail that will inform him/her that the order has been completed and that it will be processed and shipped as soon as possible.

2.3 Order Rejection

RUMAG Clothing BV will be entitled to reject the Order placed by the Customer in the following cases, among others:

– If the information that the Customer has filled in is incorrect, incomplete and/or false, or if the Seller is reasonably entitled to doubt whether that is the case,
– If the Customer’s payment is not received,
– If the Customer has already failed to comply with his/her payment obligations towards the Seller in the past,
– If the Customer has already caused serious inconvenience to the Seller in the past,
– If the Customer in the past has failed to accept and/or collect Orders that he/she placed with the Seller,
– If there is an obvious mistake or clerical error, for example in the prices indicated on the Website,
– If the Seller cannot deliver the Order to the address provided by the Customer.

If an Order is rejected, RUMAG Clothing BV will contact the Customer as soon as possible.

2.4 Conclusion of the agreement

The Agreement, including the Privacy Policy placed on the Website and these Terms of use, constitute the entire agreement between the Customer and the Seller with respect to the use of the Website and the placement and execution of an Order.


3.1 Shipping time and carrier

The Order is processed and from our logistics as soon as possible (within 1-10 business days) after it has been completed.
All our shipments are made using a carrier designated by us.
Changing deliver carrier under special request made by the Customer is not a possibility.
During sales delays are possible
The Customer will always be notified by the Seller via e-mail about possible delays and/or changes.

3.2 Shipping address and Personal information

After the order has been processed and packed, it will be shipped to the address indicated by the Customer, provided that the mentioned address is complete and correct.
If the address provided is incorrect and/or incomplete, the Customer will be contacted as soon as possible via the e-mail address and/or the phone number the Customer indicated himself/herself, provided that the indicated personal information is correct and complete.
If the Customer provided any incorrect and/or incomplete personal and address information, as already specified, the Seller has no responsibility in eventual delivery delays and/or failures.

3.3 Solving an eventual inconvenience

The risk with respect to any damage to or loss of the Products will be transferred to the Customer as from the time at which the Products are delivered.
If any inconvenience will occur before the delivery, the Customer must contact our Customer Support providing order number, address information and clear explanation of the inconvenience. Our Customer Support will handle the complaint as soon as possible and will find a suitable solution in agreement with the Customer.
During sales responding time might be extended and the Customer will always be notified by the Seller via e-mail about possible delays and/or changes.


4.1 Prices

The prices indicated on the Website are denominated in euros, are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) and are exclusive of shipping costs.
The return shipping costs will be borne by the Customer.
The total Purchase Price will be indicated in the Cart and in the confirmation e-mails the Customer receives after completing his/her order (read section 2 for further information about confirmation e-mails).

4.2 Price variation

The Seller will be entitled to adjust the prices indicated on the Website from time to time without any notice being required.
The prices indicated at the time at which the Order is placed will be deemed to be the prices that form part of the Agreement.

4.3 Payment

Payment may be made using the methods indicated on the Website and must be made in advance in order to fulfill the Order and complete the Agreement.


If the Customer is not entirely satisfied with the purchase, he/she will be entitled to return the Product that has been delivered, on his/her own cost, within a term of 14 days after the Product has been received, without stating his/her reason for doing so, in the manner indicated by the Seller on the Return Policy, provided that the Product has not been worn (trying on clothing is permitted), is undamaged and (insofar as possible) is in the original and undamaged packaging.
If the package has already been shipped, shipping charges are not refundable.
Products purchased with a discounted price are NOT refundable.
Before returning products, the Customer must fill in, print and place in the package the Return Form the Seller provides on the Website, in order to specify the details of both the order and the return.


6.1 Contact

The Customer can contact RUMAG Clothing BV via the following channels:

6.2 Responding time

Our Customer Support will answer to all the inquiries as soon as possible in a term of 14 days after receipt, provided that the message has been received and that the e-mail address indicated is correct and/or complete.
The Seller will notify the Customer within a term of 14 days in the event that it is foreseeable that the complaint will require a longer term to be processed, stating the term within which the Customer can expect to receive an answer.

The Seller and its Customer Support have no responsibilities for non-receipt messages and/or for technical problems might occur during the communication between the Customer and the Seller.

For urgent inquiries the Customer must contact our Customer Support via phone calling the already mentioned phone number during the Seller’s business hours.

6.3 Eventual deviations

The Customer acknowledges that: minor deviations and deviations that are generally considered acceptable in respect of the quality, size, color, finishing, etc. of Products cannot be avoided or are difficult to avoid and do not constitute a well-founded reason to submit a complaint.
Such complaints, and complaints regarding the removal of certain Products from the Website, are not well-founded.
The Seller will not be liable for any damage that the Customer sustains as a result of such deviations or the removal of such Products from the Website.

The Customer will fully cooperate in the event that the Seller recalls a Product.


7.1 Warranty

The Seller is required by law to provide a Product that meets the contract with the Customer.

The Customer must check the Product as soon as he/she receives it, before removing the tags and/or using the Product itself and inform the Seller about any eventual defect within the term of 14 days.
The Customer will be required to provide proof of the defect such as pictures of the Product with tags still attached and of the defect itself.

If a damage occurs after the tags have been removed and/or the Product has already been used and/or washed by the Customer, the Seller will require additional proof and information such as washing and/or drying method.
If the Customer shows the Seller that the Product has a defect caused by a production error, the Dutch Warranty Law applies to the case and the Customer and the Seller will find an amicable and suitable solution they both agree with.

The Customer will fully cooperate with the Seller’s requests and/or requirements.

7.2 Liability

The Seller is not liable for any indirect, additional or consequential damage, of any kind whatsoever, that the Buyer sustains in connection with the Agreement. Under no circumstances will any direct damage, for which the Seller is legally liable towards the Buyer, exceed the Purchase Price. This provision is not intended to exclude the Seller’s liability in the event of bodily injury or death.

The Seller refers to the Website Terms of Use with regard to its liability in respect of the Website and the use of the Website.


The Seller is not liable for any damage as a result of a delay in the delivery or a failure to deliver that has been caused by circumstances that impede the Seller from complying with its obligations, and that cannot be attributed to the Seller because they cannot be blamed on the Seller, and cannot be deemed to be for the Seller’s account in accordance with the law, a legal act or in accordance with generally accepted standards, such as – but not restricted to – war, threat of war, civil war, riots, a day of national mourning announced by the government, strikes, transport problems, trade limitations, problems with customs authorities, fire, flooding, earthquake or the bankruptcy of third parties engaged by the Seller, a failure on the part of the Seller’s suppliers to supply goods or a failure on the part of the Seller’s suppliers to supply goods in a timely manner, interruptions in the supply of goods to be delivered by third parties, including water and electricity, and other serious interruptions in the business operations of the Seller or third parties that it engages.

If as a result of a situation involving force majeure the Seller fails to comply with its obligations under the Agreement or fails to do so in a timely manner, the Seller will be entitled to perform the Agreement within a reasonable term or – if compliance within a reasonable term is not possible – to dissolve the Agreement in whole or in part, without the Seller being obliged to pay the Customer any compensation in that respect.


While We use reasonable efforts to include accurate and up to date information on the Website, We make no warranties or representations as to its accuracy.

We assume no liability or responsibility for any errors or omissions in the content of the Website.
Fill in our Contact Us form if you believe any information is incorrectly reported.

We reserve the right, at our absolute discretion, to add, revise or remove any content or information without notice.


10.1 Browsing on the Website

Your use of and browsing on the Website are at your risk.
Neither We nor any other party involved in creating, producing, or delivering the Website are liable for any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect, or punitive damages arising out of your access to, or use of, the Website.
Other than for your own personal use or internal business purposes, you may not without our prior written consent:

We neither warrant nor represent that your use of materials displayed on the Website will not infringe rights of third parties not owned by or affiliated with Us.


We may at any time revise these Terms of Use by updating this page. You are bound by any such revisions and should therefore periodically visit this page to review the then current Terms of Use to which you are bound. The Buyer must always consult these General Terms and Conditions before using the Website. If the Buyer is unable to consult the General Terms and Conditions via the Internet the Seller will send the Buyer a copy of the most recent version of the General Terms and Conditions by e-mail.

Algemene voorwaarden bij gebruikmaking van AfterPay

Artikel 1 Beoordeling aanvraag

Als u verzoekt te mogen betalen via de service achteraf betalen (AfterPay®) van arvato Finance B.V. die handelt onder de naam AfterPay (hierna “AfterPay”) leidt dit niet onmiddellijk tot een overeenkomst met de winkelier waarbij u via AfterPay mag betalen. De winkelier en AfterPay behouden zich uitdrukkelijk het recht voor zonder opgave van redenen een aanvraag af te wijzen. U krijgt zo mogelijk direct online te zien of uw verzoek wel of niet, dan wel voorwaardelijk wordt goedgekeurd. Deze voorwaardelijke goedkeuring is in beginsel alleen het resultaat van een gegevenscontrole door ons. Desgewenst kunt u hiervan schriftelijk bericht ontvangen met opgave van redenen. U kunt ook na één werkdag telefonisch contact opnemen met de klantenservice van AfterPay.
AfterPay kan binnen één werkdag na aanvankelijke voorwaardelijke acceptatie van uw aanvraag om te betalen met AfterPay®, deze alsnog omzetten in een weigering een aanvraag te honoreren en daarmee afwijzen dat u gebruik maakt van een betaling met AfterPay®. De voorwaardelijke acceptatie hangt samen met het feit dat de goedkeuring vooralsnog uitsluitend het resultaat is van een beperkte gegevenscontrole.
Iedere winkelier is gerechtigd bij het totstandkomen van een koopovereenkomst met een consument, deze te toetsen. Hiervoor maakt de winkelier gebruik van AfterPay indien u kiest voor betalen met AfterPay®. Hiervoor zijn de volgende gegevens noodzakelijk te verstrekken:
De NAW- en contactgegevens. Dit adres mag geen postbusadres zijn en dient in Nederland te liggen;
Het inschrijfnummer in het handelsregister van de Kamer van Koophandel indien u koopt via uw bedrijf;
Als u wilt betalen als een eenmanszaak, vennootschap onder firma of maatschap, dient u tevens de namen van de eigenaar van de eenmanszaak of firmanten of maten op te geven die de onderneming rechtsgeldig bij de aanvraag vertegenwoordigen;
Het bankrekeningnummer van u die betaling met AfterPay® aanvraagt.
Om te kunnen betalen met AfterPay® moet u aan de volgende voorwaarden voldoen:
U heeft een factuur- en bezorgadres in Nederland. Dit adres mag geen postbus zijn;
U bent niet failliet verklaard, of verkeert niet in surséance van betaling, of bent anderzijds onder curatele of onder bewind gesteld, dan wel er is geen aanvraag daarvoor ingediend. Tevens verkeert u niet in een situatie waarin u bent opgehouden uw schulden tijdig te voldoen.
U bent beschikkingsbevoegd of u wordt vertegenwoordigd door degene die u rechtsgeldig kan vertegenwoordigen en bevoegd is namens u te handelen.
De waarde van de bestelling is niet lager of hoger dan het bedrag dat de winkelier aan u toestaat om achteraf te mogen betalen;
Door het verstrekken van uw gegevens, om gebruik te mogen maken van de betaaloplossing AfterPay®, geeft u uitdrukkelijk toestemming uw gegevens te verwerken en zodanig te toetsen dat AfterPay op een deugdelijke en zorgvuldige wijze kan beoordelen en kan laten weten of uw aanvraag tot betaling (voorwaardelijk) is geaccepteerd;
U verklaart door middel van deze aanvraag om te betalen met AfterPay® de uit uw bestelling voortvloeiende betalingsverplichtingen volledig en tijdig te kunnen en zullen nakomen door te betalen aan AfterPay te Heerenveen.

Artikel 2 Wijze van betalen

Uw keuze om te betalen met de achteraf betaalservice AfterPay® van AfterPay houdt na acceptatie van uw verzoek/aanvraag daartoe in dat de rechten ten aanzien van het door u verschuldigde bedrag vanwege de door u gedane bestelling, worden overgedragen door de winkelier aan AfterPay . Dat betekent dat u na acceptatie door AfterPay uitsluitend nog bevrijdend kan betalen aan AfterPay. AfterPay stuurt u hiervoor een factuur met daarop vermeld het verschuldigde bedrag, separaat van de levering van de bestelling. De factuur kan digitaal zijn via e-mail of op papier via de post of via de standaard Europese incasso. Indien u aan een ander dan aan AfterPay betaalt, laat dit uw betalingsverplichting aan AfterPay in stand. U moet dan in een voorkomend geval (nogmaals) betalen, namelijk aan AfterPay te Heerenveen.
AfterPay behoudt zich het recht voor – voor zover wettelijk is toegestaan – om eventuele kosten van de betaling en/of andere kosten in geval van retournering van de bestelling door u niet te restitueren.
Indien u kiest voor de achteraf betaalservice AfterPay® in combinatie met automatische incasso machtigt u AfterPay uitdrukkelijk tot het automatisch incasseren van de (aflever)kosten op het door u vermelde (bank)rekeningnummer en heeft u bevrijdend betaald zodra de incasso met succes is geschiedt en de termijn voor stornering is verlopen. Zodra uw verzoek om te betalen via AfterPay® is geaccepteerd en u via de standard Europese incasso gaat betalen, sturen wij u een vooraankondiging, waarin wij uw incasso-opdracht bevestigen. Deze vooraankondiging krijgt u 5 dagen voordat wij zullen incasseren. Door te kiezen voor de betaalservice van AfterPay® gaat u akkoord met de termijn van 5 dagen.
AfterPay is bevoegd dezelfde rechten uit te oefenen als de winkelier op grond van de bestelling jegens u kan/kon uitoefenen.
AfterPay is ten allen tijde bevoegd eenzijdig de vordering op u over te dragen aan een derde partij.

Artikel 3 Kosten betaalopdracht

Eventuele (bancaire) verwerkingskosten van aanvragers betalingsopdracht(en) komen voor uw rekening en risico.
Indien u heeft gekozen voor de mogelijkheid om via de standaard Europese incasso te betalen, dient u zorg te dragen voor voldoende saldo op het door u opgegeven rekeningnummer. Voor het niet kunnen incasseren van het verschuldigde bedrag van uw rekening, kan AfterPay kosten aan u in rekening brengen (ophoging). U kunt dit voorkomen door tijdig te betalen. Indien het AfterPay niet lukt om te incasseren, ook nadat u in verzuim bent, zal de vordering uit handen worden gegeven en zullen aan u hogere kosten in rekening worden gebracht (buitengerechtelijke incassokosten).
Tot één dag voor de incassotransactie, kan u wettelijk gezien de incasso opdracht herroepen. In dat geval is artikel 6.1. van toepassing en kan AfterPay eveneens naast het bepaalde in artikel 6 kosten in rekening brengen.

Artikel 4 Betaaltermijn

Uw betaling welke u verschuldigd bent door uw bestelling, dient binnen een termijn van 14 dagen na factuurdatum door AfterPay ontvangen te zijn, tenzij schriftelijk een andere termijn met u is overeengekomen.

Artikel 5 Adreswijziging

U bent verplicht AfterPay op de hoogte te stellen van iedere adres- en e-mail- wijziging. Zolang AfterPay geen adreswijziging heeft ontvangen, wordt u geacht gevestigd te zijn op het laatst bij AfterPay bekende adres. Adreswijzigingen moeten doorgegeven worden per email of schriftelijk aan de klantenservice van arvato Finance B.V. h/o AfterPay, Postbus 434 8440 AK Heerenveen, telefoon 0900 – 40 50 60 2. (Dit informatienummer kost € 0,70 cent per gesprek,
plus uw gebruikelijke belkosten)

Artikel 6 Verzuim

Indien u niet binnen de in artikel 4 genoemde termijn betaalt is het verschuldigde bedrag direct opeisbaar en bent u zonder nadere ingebrekestelling in verzuim.
Indien u binnen 14 dagen na factuurdatum niet heeft betaald, stuurt AfterPay aan u een herinnering om u te wijzen op overschrijding van de betalingstermijn. Indien u aan deze herinnering geen gehoor geeft, stuurt AfterPay aan u een (tweede) schriftelijke herinnering en zal AfterPay het verschuldigde bedrag ophogen met administratiekosten. Indien u ook aan deze herinnering geen gehoor geeft, en AfterPay aan u een sommatie moet sturen, zullen de administratiekosten nogmaals worden verhoogd.
Vanaf de datum waarop u in verzuim verkeert, is AfterPay gerechtigd de wettelijke rente per maand te berekenen over het door u verschuldigde bedrag, tevens bent u administratiekosten volgens de Wet Incassokosten verschuldigd in verband met de door AfterPay verzonden betalingsherinneringen en zal AfterPay alle redelijke kosten ter verkrijging van voldoening, zowel buiten rechte als gerechtelijk, aan u in rekening brengen. AfterPay is bij keuze voor automatische incasso of eenmalige machtiging, gerechtigd het totaal verschuldigde bedrag inclusief kosten en rente door middel van automatische incasso of eenmalige machtiging van de uw bankrekening af te schrijven. Het minimumbedrag dat AfterPay in rekening brengt voor buitengerechtelijke incassokosten in het geval van verzuim bedraagt € 40 (veertig euro).
Indien er door aan u toerekenbaar tekortschieten (wanprestatie) kosten zijn opengevallen zullen nadien door u gepleegde betalingen allereerst in mindering strekken op de inmiddels opengevallen kosten. Eerst nadat de opengevallen kosten volledig zijn voldaan kan uw betaling in mindering strekken op het door aanvrager oorspronkelijk verschuldigde bedrag.

Artikel 7 Bescherming persoonsgegevens bij natuurlijke personen en gebruik gegevens

AfterPay respecteert ieders privacy en draagt er zorg voor dat informatie van natuurlijke personen vertrouwelijk wordt behandeld. AfterPay verwijst hiervoor naar haar privacy statement, welke is gepubliceerd op haar website www.afterpay.nl. Daar kunt u alles nalezen omtrent de verwerking van persoonsgegevens, als ook vragen om inzage van de persoonsgegevens die worden verwerkt en de wijze van het uitoefenen van rechten die voortvloeien uit de Wet bescherming persoonsgegevens.

Artikel 8 Aansprakelijkheid

AfterPay kan slechts aansprakelijk gehouden worden voor schade, die aan haar opzet of grove schuld is toe te rekenen, dan wel ontstaan is door omstandigheden die op grond van dwingendrechtelijke regels voor haar risico komen. AfterPay is nimmer aansprakelijk voor gevolg- of bedrijfsschade, indirecte schade en winst- of omzetderving.
Indien AfterPay, om welke reden dan ook, gehouden is enige schade te vergoeden dan zal de schadevergoeding nooit hoger zijn dan een bedrag gelijk aan de factuurwaarde met betrekking tot het product of dienst waardoor de schade is veroorzaakt.

Artikel 9 Toepasselijk recht en bevoegde rechter

Op de dienstverlening van AfterPay en alle contracten die zij sluit, , is Nederlands recht van toepassing. Geschillen worden voorgelegd aan de bevoegde rechter te Zwolle, tenzij de wet nadrukkelijk een andere rechter als bevoegd aanwijst.
